Job applications for junior developers
Looking for jobs abroad can be a bit more challenging if you are in the first years of your career
Hello everyone!
If you are a fresh graduate or have less than 3 years of industry experience you probably noticed that applying for jobs outside became more challenging especially these times when more experienced engineers are available in the market.
More challenging doesn’t mean impossible. At Imagine, we believe nothing is impossible. We have seen companies offering jobs for junior engineers and Fellows with 1 or 2 years of work experience getting hired.
One of our Career Coaches, Nanda D’Emery, found a job herself, as a Junior Frontend Developer, at Energenious, in Berlin. Thinking of all of you who are sending out hundreds of applications, taking dozens of interviews and tests, and didn’t receive an offer yet, we recorded a series of 3 videos to tell you what you can do to thrive in your job search.
Check it out! Video #1, Nanda gives you tips on how to be more strategic in your applications.
Video #2, Nanda shares what she did to succeed in the interviews.
Video #3, Nanda brings extra tips that helped her to get hired.
I hope you enjoy the videos. If you think it can help someone you know, feel free to share the videos with them.
Nanda, I and all the Imagine Team wish you success!!!
