If you follow these 10 rules you will never find a job in Europe - PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE IRONY ;)
🤔 Ever wondered how NOT to get hired? Well, we have the answer for you. Based on over 4 years of experience in the biz here is a list of 10 rules: Follow them and you'll never find a job in Europe.
PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR THE IRONY 😉
Apply randomly: Do not research whether you fit the company and role.
Use a one-fits-all CV: Do not tailor your CV to the job description.
Mention ALL your skills and experiences in your CV even though they do not matter for the role you are applying to.
Style and organization of your CV are NOT important: Don’t waste any time on them.
Do NOT read carefully about the company and its latest news before your HR interview: Recruiters really don’t care that you have no idea about the company and the role.
Do NOT prepare an answer to the question “Tell me about yourself”: Recruiters NEVER ask this one in an interview.
Don’t ask ANY questions during the HR and Tech interview: Recruiters really HATE it when you ask reasonable questions about the role.
Make sure you never show that you have no idea how to answer: Please never be transparent and authentic.
Whatever you do, Do NOT use LinkedIn: LinkedIn is not a good tool to build your professional network or advance your career. Do not waste your time on it.
Give up quickly: Don’t be persistent and follow up on job applications. If it is meant to be a recruiter will just come knocking on your door.
